Fifty members of the Victorian Artists Society, formed in 1888 with some of Australia's most famous painters, has opened its traditional 2014 Spring Exhibition at its Gallery at 430 Albert Street, East Melbourne with ninety five paintings.

The Victorian Artists Society, with some of Australia's most famous artists, including Tom Roberts, Arthur Streeton and Charles Conder among its founding members in 1870, is encouraging Melburnians of all ages to enjoy Melbourne with painting and drawing.
