Kidsafe Victoria today said warning signs on the dangers of leaving children in hot cars on the entry to all supermarket car parks would be a major positive move to help protect babies and small children being left in life threatening situations.

Television Tip Over Danger for Children

Kidsafe Victoria today issued a red alert on the danger of television TIP OVERS following the death of a five year old boy yesterday. The boy died after a television set fell on him at his home in Collie, in the southwest of Western Australia.

Kidsafe Targets Serious Injury and Death with Child Restraint Campaign

Recent reports from the NSW Office of State Revenue that approximately 7 parents/ carers have been fined each day for non-compliance since the new child restraint laws were introduced, is clear evidence that children are being placed at risk of serious injury or death.

Kidsafe Welcomes Victorian Ban on Small Magnet Toy

Kidsafe Victoria today welcomed the move by the Victorian Minister of Consumer Affairs, Michael O'Brien, to issue an interim 60 day ban on a novelty toy featuring small round magnets.
