Sanctuary Lakes Resort Real Estate Director Ruth Ritchie said Sanctuary Lakes was a leader in residential lifestyle living when it was started some fifteen years ago and still maintains that position today.

Ms Ritchie said many of these buyers are moving from the inner suburban areas, which are facing increasing traffic and changing residential environments with higher density development, increased noise and in many cases a higher level of industrial traffic.

"A significant amount of the land sold at Sanctuary Lakes in the past two years has been to residents who indicated the bullish inner suburban property market had enabled them to gain a good price for their established home to fund their move to their new lifestyle at Sanctuary Lakes.

"The new land release features lots priced from $220,000 for 400M2 park front lots to $310,000 for a 706M2 lot with lake views.

"The people who have moved onto Sanctuary Lakes in the past fifteen years have generally made their decision based on the quality of the environment linked to the extensive open space, the lake, the resort style facilities and the championship Greg Norman designed 18 hole golf course."

Sanctuary Lakes will always be a premium residential location with 30% of all land either on the waterfront or on the golf course and 50% of the entire project being open space.

"People purchasing into the last stages of the project have the added advantage of purchasing into a unique location where facilities such as the clubhouse, café, restaurants, gymnasium, swimming pool and tennis courts, 24 hour security and a number of local clubs are already in existence.

"At Sanctuary Lakes, the resident's investment is protected with over fifty staff working with the Club to maintain all of the manicured parks, lake, golf course surrounds and the club services to ensure residents continue to enjoy living in a quality environment."
