Floods Cut Rally Route as Kars Head Towards Broken Hill

Heavy rains and floods have forced the cancellation of some stages of the 22nd Kidney Kar Rally on Day 3 as Kars leave from Wilpena Pound in South Australia and head towards Broken Hill in New South Wales on a 690 kilometre trek.

Arthur and Kim Davis, the Road Directors for the 22nd Kidney Kar Rally, like many people were pleased to see the drought break in Queensland earlier this year as they drove and planned the  4800 kilometre Kidney Kar Rally route.

Swan Hill, Pinnaroo, Murray Bridge, Wilpena Pound, Broken Hill, Quilpie, Charleville, Injune, Taroom, Chinchilla, Dalby, Stanhope and Glen Innes.The memories of the foundation of Australian Motor Sport are set to be rekindled when the names of Brabham and Repco come together in support of the 22nd Kidney Kar Rally, which starts on Friday 13 August 2010 at Swan Hill.
