As part of Fed Square's 10th Birthday celebrations, the Ten Years On competition invites students to share their views on an important event that has happened in Australia during the last decade.

The winning student will receive a $500 voucher to spend with their family at Fed Square and their school will receive a selection of Australian art, architecture and media books valued at $100.

The winner will be announced on Friday 26 October 2012.

Jane Sydenham-Clarke from Fed Square said, "In just ten years Fed Square has become the meeting place for the Victorian community in the heart of Melbourne attracting close to 10 million visits in the past year alone, and close to 80 million visitors since opening on 26 October 2002."

"Children have always been a major focus as we have bought the Civic and Cultural Charter to life, particularly through the Fed Ed education program, but also through public programming, with more than 2,000 events and activities held each year - most of which are free to the public."
