Golfers at Sandhurst
Club in the south east of Melbourne this week were powered up in more
ways than one when they found the traditional golf cart had been replaced
by a V8 Supercar sitting in pride of place on their driving range.
Launching at Sandhurst
Club, Victoria's most environmentally friendly and drought proof golf
course and suburb, Sprint Gas Racing revealed its 2009 car livery and
announced its carbon emission footprint will be minimised thanks to an
environmental initiative implemented in conjunction with WPC Group.
Drivers Greg Murphy
and new Sprint Gas recruit Jason Bargwanna looked resplendent in red team
gear added colour on the course when they teed off the 2009 season on
the driving range to automatically trigger the courses sprinklers before
unveiling their new car.
