Sandhurst Club Golfers and Residents Tee Off For Bushfire Survivors

Golfers and residents at Sandhurst Club are teeing off with a special Fundraiser for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009 with a nine hole twilight golf game on its two championship courses on Tuesday 24th February 2009.

The game will have hit off times between 4.00pm and 6.00pm culminating in a community barbeque at Sandhurst Club.

A special golf clinic for prospective golfers will be available from 4.00pm to 5.00pm and 5.00pm to 6.00pm including playing three holes on the course.

Part of the fundraising will include a monster raffle and a trivia quiz at the Sandhurst Clubhouse.

One of the more unusual items to assist the fundraising is a signed bonnet from the V8 Super Car Team Sprint Gas Racing's 2008 Car signed by V8 driving legends Greg Murphy and Jason Richards. The Sprint Gas Racing Team will launch its 2009 livery at Sandhurst on the morning of the fundraising event.
