Archicentre has appointed a marketing executive with over 15 years of international experience in business development, marketing and customer service to head its Queensland operation.

Ian Agnew
Queensland State Manager

Announcing the appointment Mark Stewart, Chief Executive of Archicentre, the building advisory service of the Australian Institute of Architects said, the appointment of Ian Agnew, an executive from Ford Motor Company who was most recently responsible for customer service, will provide Archicentre with a stronger marketing and business development operation in Queensland.

"Ian has a very successful and wide experience in business development and his skills will align directly to Archicentre's proposed expanding role in delivering pre-purchase housing inspections, design concepts and construction reports to Queensland home buyers and renovators and commercial clients."

Commenting on his appointment Ian Agnew, who commenced work this week, said he was looking forward to working with the highly skilled team of Archicentre architects and extending services offered by the organisation, which is recognised as a leading advocate for Australian home buyers and renovators on consumer issues.

He said whilst his new position was a long way from being in charge of customer service for a national car manufacturer, he was well versed in renovation and building issues having renovated a number of homes.

Archicentre is the largest national supplier of pre-purchase home inspections and design concepts in Australia with a network of 900 architects and has been in operation for thirty two years.
