.
The Archicentre Online Flood Recovery Advice provides step by step advice on the issues faced by flood victims and how to avoid mistakes in the clean up. David Hallett, Victorian State Manager of Archicentre said the flood advice fact sheets provided a good working guide and covered issues such as safety on the site, the right processes to ensure the structural integrity of the building and the removal of material from the building. "Also covered is the process to ensure people hire qualified tradespeople who are registered and carry appropriate insurances." Mr Hallett said, "Archicentre has also contacted Members of Parliament and Councils in the affected areas to alert them to the flood advice material for their constituents and ratepayers." The six Archicentre flood advice fact sheets in pdf format cover Flood Advice, Health and Safety, Clean up, Building Integrity, Drying and Repairs.
