60%
of Fed Square is Indoors
Fed Square, Melbourne's most visited precinct with over eight
million visits a year and famous for its big screen and major public
events, has launched its winter campaign focusing on its indoor
facilities and services.

Jane Sydenham-Clarke from Fed Square said there
was a misperception of Fed Square as a summer place for open air
events but sixty per cent of the precinct is indoors.
"Fed Square, a central meeting place in Melbourne located at the
transport hub of the city and with affordable and convenient
parking, is a unique precinct that offers a winter escape for
everyone.
"Our campaign is aimed at perking up cold and grumpy Melburnians
by encouraging them to visit our galleries and institutions, enjoy
great food and wine; find a gift for that culture buff; or show
their visitors the very best of Melbourne."
Ms Sydenham-Clarke said that everyone is catered for from
children, to young professionals, to families and seniors. Whether
you are a city worker, a recreational day tripper or a parent
looking for school holiday fun - Fed Square wants to cheer you up
for winter.
If you are feeling cold and grumpy just go the website www.coldandgrumpy.com
and register to go in the draw for a $1,000.00 cheer me up Fed
Square experience.
For the next two weeks Melburnians will be cheered up by happy
Buskers distributing Smile Badges at Fed Square.
