Kidney Health Week 24th May - 31st May

Kidney Health Week, which commences tomorrow, will see the
debut of a new unique rock band KHAOS - Kidney Health Australia On
Stage.
Every member of the unique band has a connection to kidney health
and includes doctors, transplant recipients, dialysis patients and
Kidney Health Australia staff.

Dr Harry Moody on keyboard; Harry's son
Ben on trumpet; Dr Mark Thomas on guitar; Thomas Klopcic on bass
guitar; Matthew Fitzsimmons on lead guitar; Adam Boyle on drums,
Maree Chetkovich on flute; Isaac Edmonds on guitar and Dr Jonathan
Lacey on vocals! Julie Edmonds is Band Manager and Shelley Harwood
is Technical Director.
Anne Wilson CEO of Kidney Health Australia said KHAOS is a great
initiative and demonstrated the strong bond that is formed between
many people involved in the kidney health area on a daily basis.
Band Manager Julie Edmonds, West Australian Area Manager for
Kidney Health Australia said, KHAOS will make its debut on Monday as
the headline act of the West Australian Kidney Health Week Operation
Angel Awards.
Western Australians will be officially recognized as Kidney
Angels for their contribution to kidney health by The Hon. Jim
McGinty, the West Australian Minister for Health. The Minister will
present the awards at the official launch of Kidney Health Week and
also celebrate Kidney Health Australia's 40th birthday.
KHAOS Band Members
Dr Harry Moody from the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in
Nedlands on key board and his son Ben who goes to Hale School in
Wembley Downs on trumpet.
Dr Mark Thomas from Royal Perth Hospital in Perth on guitar.
Thomas Klopcic from Busselton who received a kidney transplant
just two weeks ago on bass guitar.
Matthew Fitzsimmons from Maidavale who has been on dialysis for
four years on lead guitar.
Adam Boyle from Highgate a pre-dialysis patient on drums.
Maree Chetkovich from Mt Lawley a volunteer for Kidney Kids
Camps on flute.
Isaac Edmonds from Floreat and attends school in Shenton Park, a
son of a living donor on guitar.
Dr Jonathan Lacey from Bunbury Hospital who works in Emergency
and who has just one kidney on vocals.
Julie Edmonds is Band Manager and Shelley Harwood is Technical
Director.
