Lakes Set to Showcase Australian Golf
Hundreds of hours
of preparation and planning will come to fruition next week when Sanctuary
Lakes Resort hosts the 2008 nab Victorian PGA Championship.
Ross Williamson, General Manager of Sanctuary Lakes said, "the 2008 nab
Victorian PGA Championship, the only major golf tournament held in the
west of Melbourne is a major and significant event for the Greg Norman
designed championship course.
"This PGA event is staged with the help of members of the Sanctuary Lakes
Golf Club and provides an opportunity for Sanctuary Lakes to showcase
Australia's elite golfers and promote the City of Wyndham and the western
region of Melbourne."

Tour Manager said, "the 2008 nab Victorian PGA Championship had one of the strongest
fields ever and is a week packed with action both on and off the course.
"People attending the event will be able to see some of Australia's leading
golfers do battle for the $110,000 in prize money on the picturesque Sanctuary
Lakes course."
