The Sandhurst Club is the principal sponsor of a major
seminar on sustainability initiated by Frankston City Council
featuring internationally recognised scientist and conservation
campaigner, David Suzuki.

The Sandhurst Club David Suzuki Sustainability Seminar will
take place on Tuesday, 2 March 2004 at the Frankston Arts
Centre.
Mayor of Frankston City Council, Councillor
Cathy Wilson, and Sandhurst Club Chairman Ken Roche, in
a joint statement announcing the sponsorship, said that
this seminar would be the only opportunity for people in
Victoria to hear and exchange ideas with one of the world's
most important conservationists.
Cr Wilson said that this seminar organised
by Frankston City Council is a major coup and reinforces
the municipality's strong environmental credentials.
